We are committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy (this “Policy”) (together with the terms and conditions of use) sets out any personal data we may collect from you, or that you provide to us and how and for what purposes we use the information collected about you via www.youniverse.com (the “Site"). Please read this Policy carefully. By using the Site and any services we offer via the Site, you are agreeing to be bound by this Policy in respect of the information collected about you via the Site.

We collect the following types of information about the user of the Site:
Information provided by the user
We collect demographic information such as, but not limited to, age, gender and country when you complete a visual questionnaire or any other forms on the Site. This information is used to make your results more accurate.
We collect personal information such as, but not limited to, name, address and email address when you register to become a member of the Site. This information, along with demographic information and image preferences to our visual questionnaires is used when you set up your personal profile. As part of your personal profile, you may choose to submit additional information such as photographs and other content.
If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence and/or collect information from such correspondence.
We may also conduct surveys or run contests via the Site during which similar information will be collected and used for research or as otherwise provided in this Policy, although you do not have to respond to such surveys or enter such contests.
We receive and store information which is transmitted automatically from your computer when you browse the Internet and use the Site. This information includes information from cookies, your IP address and browser type. Your IP address is the unique address of your computer which is automatically provided to other computers when your web browser or email application requests a web page or email from those computers on the Internet.

We share Site usage information about users with reputable third party partners for the purpose of identifying and meeting the needs of our users.
We only share users' personal, identifiable information with our partners if the user opts in to have their information shared. The personal information we share with our partners consists of responses to visual images. Your personal identity will not be revealed without first obtaining your written consent. This information will be used by the partner to design services and products and for other marketing purposes.
In the case where a partner site requires user registration to access content on a partner site made available or promoted to the user on the Site, We may pass personal information required by the partner site in order to pre-populate the partner site registration form. The purpose of this is to make the registration process easier for you, and to facilitate smoother interaction between the sites.
Advertisements that appear on the Site are delivered to you by our advertising partners. This Policy applies only to this Site and not to other websites to which we provide links. Where the Site is available via the websites of our partners, those partners may have access to your information. Their use of your personal information is governed by their privacy policies.
