About him

Divorced for almost 2 years and still learning how to be myself, alone. At the moment, at least, I prefer it that way.

I like intellectual discussions about life and metaphysics. I believe that, within a general framework dictated by genetics and learned behaviors, we are responsible for our individual choices; how we choose and whether we choose to choose.

An all-important fact that colors my personality is that I am an identical twin. I'm the one on the right in the photo of us at Houston's International Festival last year. Being a twin has been entertaining, enlightening and enchanted.

This is a very interesting time; these next four years. With only McCain as a viable alternative, we ended up with an idealistic, inexperienced amateur in the seat of the most powerful office on Earth. This has its good points and bad points. It is certain that nothing will remain the same as before.

Before, we as a nation were achieving the pinnacle of technological development in a time of easy liberty, or at least its illusion. All the best of everything, but with a rising tide of violence and bad news around us. And, it seemed like we were beginning to lose our hold on that peak. My feeling is that McCain would have done an admirable job of keeping us on the same track; improving some things while we as a people continued accelerating toward a clash with our environment.

Now comes a wild card that will definitely shake things up. The question is, will we survive? If we do, we may wake up in a better world. My brain tells me it is the wrong path, but my heart tells me that it might be our only chance.

His interests

I love playing music on various instruments, darts, board games, Wii, MySpace, and sitting on my balcony. I also love my job, and I hope to do it for the rest of my life, because it is so fascinating. The way I see it is like this: I enable dreams. I make it possible for folks to achieve their dreams, so I take each project personally.

I've read lots of sci-fi and fantasy, but also a lot of philosophy. Presently, I'm not reading anything, though. Instead, I'm getting into riding my little 50cc scooter that I got last May. At an average speed of 20 MPH, I've ridden over 1500 miles since then, and I absolutely love it! I strongly recommend it for really seeing where you live.
