Hi! My names Katie, i'm 19 years old and from Newcastle in England. (Sorry about the abysmal start - and probably middle and end- of this 'about me' i'm rubbish at this kind of thing...so whats there to say about me that's interesting?Well i'm currently studying Computer Science at Newcastle uni (The Posh will trounce the Polly!)
As you can probably guess I LOVE computers and technology in general, the things you can do with technology these days is mind boggling! And to think... never in a million years would we have had an inkling of how big the computer industry would become 20 years ago, 20 years ago the internet had barely begun on a social scale and computers we massive machines that were kept in the basements of research facilities! Imagine what will be new and exciting 20 years from now!
I work in a computer retail shop (that will go nameless because the big bosses don't wan us discussing work on social networking sites *rolls eyes*) but i love it there! I work with the best people in the world and work is never a chore, luckily i get the east shifts (evenings and weekends) because i'm at uni but working in such a big computer shop means i come into contact with such interesting and innovate stuff I always end up speechless...and penniless!
On the other side of things my friends and family are fantastic and mean the world to me and im a very social person, I love being around people and making new friends, romance wise i'm very wary so please no adding me because you think m profile pictures hot and you want to oggle! I'd rather a few funky people who want to chat because they like what they see of ME as a person added me than loads of people added me but all they wanted were sleazy pictures/webcam shots. (This is probably pointless because if that is your intention you've probably just looked through my gallery and then clicked add but a gal can try can't she?)
I think i'll finish up here because the very few people who've read this far down are probably bored by now. I'm a very random person, i like going out on a limb just to see what would happen, i'll take a shortcut i've never taken before just to see where it leads and more than anything i think your outlook on life is the most important thing. If you think happy things then happy things will happen and you will be happy! I'm a big believer in karma and try to be nice. Just to finish things off here are a few facts about me! My nickname is kit and i've started taking on cat like qualities (which is slightly scary), if i see a penny mix up in a shop i have to have one (love bubblegum cola bottles - the pink and blue ones- can't get enough of those), my favorite place is snuggled up in bed with a good book be it electronic or physical and i'm a very huggy person, hugs are good things, they cost nothing but can make the world of difference!
