Divorced Dad with four adult children and four grandsons. As a single Dad raised my four kids ages 11-18 after their mother's sudden death. Three are college graduates and all are now doing well. I graduated from Ripon College in WI, spent the better part of four years as an Army officer stationed in Germany before returning to VT to raise a family. I enjoy the outdoors whether it be something as simple as cutting firewood. Can't find much time now to hunt or fish, but when I retire that should change. The kids visit often now that they are all back close to home. It's great having a Sunday BBQ or just chilling out. I enjoy time with my grandsons. All the joys of parenthood, but he can go home with mom at the end of the day. Like dining out or just having drinks with friends. I like to vacation to warmer weather in the Spring as the winters here are just too long!7/9/2009- add another grandson. Talk about prior planning Waylon was born on his late grandmother's birthday. 11/20/2009- add one more grandson. Trever joined his cousins Wyatt and Waylon. Oldest daughter, Jennie and husband, Jimmy, are proud parents!
4/28/2011 still another grandson. Avery John joins brothers Wyatt and Waylon.
