I've been teaching high school for the past 6 years, but I'm taking a year off to get my sanity back. I love high school kids, but sometimes the job can wear you out. I live near my family (they are very important to me), and I'm the proud aunt of 3 nephews and 1 niece...soon to be 2.

I read...a lot. Just finished Angela's Ashes, so sad, but with a whisper of hope because he just never gives up. I have a yellow lab who wants to go outside to chase a raccoon. And I'm an avid kayaker and traveler.
