Hmm...that "up for grabs" does not suit me at all.

Well for the past 21 years have called Florida "home". I live here in the sunshine state with my son Sebastián, who was born on the 18th of May 2008, and our cat Stormie Weather.

My family is very important to me and because of them I hope to move back to Puerto Rico someday. Living here in Florida is nice, but it would be even nicer to have family around.

I never thought of having kids at my age. Long ago I wanted to have two boys and two girls. LOL…I even had names picked out for them:

Thomas Matthew
Timothy Adam
Victoria Maria
Emilia Cristina

After ending my 13 year marriage in 2004 I never thought of kids again. Then three years ago I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes and my thoughts of having kids were completely erased. Last year I met my son’s father and it was a world wind relationship; one thing led to another and the next thing you knew it Sebastián was born.

Becoming a single mom has been the greatest blessing that God has given me. My son is a true miracle and someday I will share either here or in my blog why he is.

I have enjoyed traveling around and I plan to share a time line of my travels/places I have lived later in my blog.

Some of the things I enjoy are: camping, fishing, boating, cooking, going to the cinema/theater, traveling and the list goes on.

So…

Ask me to go camping and I will clean the fish.

Ask me to cook for two and I end up cooking for a troop.

Ask me to a movie...we'll just have to see what's playing once we get there.

Ask me to plan ahead and my bags will be packed ready to go.

Ask me to show you my favorite place and we'll have to climb a mountain.

Oi, I almost forgot to warn you all...I LOVE to talk and ask questions so don't be scared to hush me up. LOL...sometimes my family tells me to SHUT UP!
