Photography:I got into photography when I bought my first digital SLR a few years ago, but I'm thinking about going back to film. I'm really into photojournalism. If I had to change career, that might be my choice.
Film:
I watch a lot of movies. Favourites would be Citizen Kane, The Third Man, Dr Strangelove, Jaws, Little Miss Sunshine and The Pianist.
Politics:
I have little interest or time for party politics, but I do have a keen interest in current affairs.
Literature:
I'm usually reading two or three books at any one time. At the moment they are Ronnie Wood's biography, Blowing Up Russia by Alexander Litvinenko and Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad. I'm also flicking through a travel guide on Macedonia.
Travel:
Unfortunately not something I get to do as often as I'd like, but when the opportunity comes along you'll find me somewhere off the usual tourist map. In the last couple of years I've been to Poland, Ukraine, both Georgias - the US State and the Eastern European country - Morocco, Sweden and I'm planning a trip to the Balkans later in the year.
