I'm a teacher, so recess is a required part of my job.
I'm a mom to an amazing, fabulous daughter (she must take after her mother).
I'm wicked funny most of the time, and pretty stinkin smart.
I consider my home my "happy place". No matter where I go, I'm always happy to get back home.
Either my profile isn't super accurate, or I'm deluding myself.
I had alot of fun analyzing the pictures for this profile (I'm a visual learner),and now I want to see what happens next....
Anyone with children will understand that individual interests are a pipe dream most of the time. B.C. (before child)I restored Victorian homes in Houston and Savannah, and coming from a family that makes furniture, I'm always interested in design(don't get me started in a form vs. function debate). When I'm alone, I watch Flip That House and Property Ladder - and was recently intrigued by CSI: Miami - but I think it's just because I have a thing for "gingers". I just completed my second sprint triathalon (proving that anyone really CAN do it),and am trying to develop the patience for yoga. I read all the time, and love One Hundred Years of Solitude (but disappointed by Love in the Time of Cholera, by the same author)....If you've never read David Sedaris, you haven't lived yet (and he's got a new one out I'm dying to read).I like to cook, but my child is the ultimate picky eater (who eats grape tomatoes by the container)....so I can only practice my culinary skills when she's with her dad ....and, without coming off sounding like a lonely "cat lady", I love my animals....
